VIEWERS are already loving new ITV series The Trouble With Maggie Cole after the series got off to an incredible start this week.
But it's not just the hilarious storyline that has got people talking – fans can't stop raving about the stunning locations which provided the backdrop for the show.
Where was The Trouble Maggie Cole filmed?
The show is set in the fictional coastal town of Thurlbury, but the village which everyone loves is actually called Noss Mayo.
The series is about a local historian called Maggie Cole – played by Dawn French – who revealed too much about her neighbours during a radio interview after one too many G&T's.
The series was filmed all over Cornwall and Devon which provides a stunning backdrop for the series.
The tiny little village of Noss Mayo was used as one of the main locations for the fictional Thurlbury.
Noss Mayo is located in South West Devon, about six miles from Plymouth, and it is close to Newton Creek – an arm of the estuary of the River Yealm.
Across the water is the village of Newton Ferrers, which you can see on-screen in the TV drama.
This is where Maggie's home is situated and is featured heavily in the scene where her shocking radio interview is aired.
The Cornish castle is used as the backdrop to where Maggie works as a local historian.
The 13th century building is refereed to as a "Norman Keep" in the series.
In real life the castle has a colourful history as a prison of which George Fox, founder of the Quakers, was the most famous prisoner – he suffered harsh confinement there in 1656.
Launceston Castle was also used as the base for the Cornish Royalist defence of the county.
Filming also took place around Burgh Island, a tidal island on the coast of South Devon.
One of the main locations used was Bigbury-on-Sea beach.
Maggie can often be seen walking on it with her husband Peter (played by Mark Heap).
The Conqueror pub
One of the many places used throughout the series is The Conqueror, the local pub.
In the show it is run by landlord Brian Daniels, who is played by former Corrie star Lee Boardman.
Unfortunately The Conqueror isn't actually a real pub, and has been devised for the series.
The pub is where Maggie spills all of the town's secrets on the first day after getting drunk during her radio interview.
