Tipping Point fans spot epic blunder in player’s strategy on Mona Lisa question

Tipping Point fans were baffled when they spotted an error in one player's tactics during a question on famous paintings.

Friday's show (December 3) saw four new contestants walk into the ITV studio in the hopes of bagging a hefty cash prize from the notoriously tough Tipping Point arcade machine.

Chloe, Suzanne, Bill and Drai faced off against each other on rigorous questions of general knowledge, where they earn counters for each correct answer.

When they collect counters during the rounds, contestants can use them to win money by dropping them into the machine in a bid to push counters off of the shelf.

However, when Chloe was faced with a question on a famous painting, her strategy left some viewers scratching their heads.

Chloe's question required her to name the painting which has been dubbed the Mona Lisa of the North – called the Girl with the Earrings.

In a surprising turn of tactics though, Chloe admitted she didn't know the answer and opted for the Mona Lisa – even though it was explicitly named in the question.
