The Carter family is to shrink in coming weeks as Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) is set to depart Walford in dramatic circumstances – and the ball could start rolling as early as this coming week as the luckless local suddenly finds herself homeless when caught between couple Iqra Ahmed( Priya Davdra) and Ash Panesar (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha).
But as she is left without anywhere to go, she later finds herself in the orbits of Albert Square villains Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander-Smith) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) – so life in Walford could be about to become very dangerous for her.
Things are strained between Iqra and Ash. With Ash lying about her whereabouts, Iqra worries. After confronting Ash, it soon becomes clear she doesn’t like Tina living with them so Iqra agrees to tell Tina to move out, just as Tina walks in leaving them mortified.
With nowhere to go, Tina asks Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) if she can stay with her, but Kathy lets her down, telling her about her issues with Ian (Adam Woodyatt).
And when Kathy then follows up with Ian about the first payment for the re-mortgage which is due, he finds himself in Suki’s orbit – which means that Tina could soon be in the same boat.
Later, Tina ends up on Shirley’s doorstep homeless but with a little persuasion from Shirley, Gray agrees to let Tina stay for a while.
Meanwhile, Ian has arranged an interview with the Walford Gazette to talk all about his empire but when Tina overhears him slating the previous owners of The Vic, she is left seething. In Walford East, Suki arrives to speak to Ian and he asks Iqra to hold the fort whilst they speak privately, but Iqra is stunned by what she finds.
Will she tell Tina – and will she use it against Ian and therefore Suki?
Speaking about leaving the show, Luisa recently told Metro.co.uk: ‘After seven awesome years, it’s time for me to move on and get excited about other projects! I have had the most amazing time on EastEnders and will miss the cast and crew so much.
‘But I am also completely excited about the new adventures that await me. It’s been an amazing ride. Being part of the 30th anniversary, the live eps, the Carter family, working every day with my best friends. Danny Dyer, Kellie Bright and Linda Henry, I love you more than anything in the world.’
