Spoilers: Kerry's return storyline is revealed in Emmerdale

Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) has been away from Emmerdale for over a year but soon, she makes her return and is thrown straight into the middle of a dramatic storyline involving newcomer Chloe (Jessie Elland).

Chloe – the sister of Sarah’s (Katie Hill) heart donor – has made it perfectly clear she lives a wealthy lifestyle, but no one really knows much about her family.

Two people who know about Chloe’s rich life are Charity (Emma Atkins) and Mack (Lawrence Robb) and soon, as they head to rob Chloe’s house, they stumble upon an old face.

Charity and Mack arrive at Chloe’s and Mack is wowed by the opulence.

After clearing a display case of watches, they encounter a maid cleaning and Charity’s taken aback to realise it’s Kerry.

When Chloe arrives home unexpectedly, Kerry covers for Charity and Mack.

After Chloe leaves, Kerry warns Charity and Mack to not mention they’ve seen her and to stay away in the future.

Back in the village, however, a mysterious figure starts watching Charity and Mack – but who is it?

Have they invited trouble into their lives?

Will we finally discover more about Chloe’s life throughout this storyline?

Laura Norton, who plays Kerry, recently told Metro.co.uk another other press what it was like to return to filming and this dark new storyline:

‘You get to see another side to Kerry but of course it’s Kerry and stuff just happens to her. So, she ends up being involved with this awful situation.

‘It was amazing [to be back], beautiful to see everybody and amazing to be working again. But scary, I thought I’d forgotten how to act, it’s been such a long time. And also, really difficult to leave the baby because of Covid I’ve spent months being pregnant and then he was seven months when I went back – but I’ve just been in a bubble with him and Mark and the family.’

‘It was very surreal I have to say, but I love being back.’
