PETER Andre has admitted he can't understand son Junior's "street talk" saying he's baffled because he "goes to private school".
The 14-year-old is Pete's eldest child from his first marriage to Katie Price, and while father and son are close, Pete admits Junior's lingo is leaving him confused.
Writing in his latest New! Magazine column, Pete, 47, said: "I'm putting a call out there to any parents who can help me understand my son's lingo.
"When J's chatting in his 'street' talk, I have no idea what he's going on about.
"It seems I'm not the only one because someone commented on one of his Instagram posts the other day asking for the translate button!
"He goes to a private school, so you'd think he'd know how to talk properly, haha."
However Pete – who also has daughter Princess, 12, with Katie as well as daughter Amelia, six, and son Theo, three with second wife Emily – said he was joking about his eldest not talking properly.
He continued: "In all fairness, he does – I'm just kidding. It's weird, because he comes home and slips from normal English to some sort of weird language.
"Like I always say to him, 'You're a G for Greek not a G for gangsta'."
Pete has just returned from a trip to Australia with Junior and Princess to visit his family, and was delighted to reunite with Emily, 30.
The singer shared a candid snap of Emily wrapping her arms around him in a loving embrace once he was back home.
Emily had to stay at home as she couldn't get the time off work so she missed the visit, and Pete couldn't help but gush over his spouse, writing "love you" underneath the picture.
Last week, Peter said he and wife Emily may quit the UK and move to Australia, insisting: "Doctors are in demand in Oz."
