Mel C makes cheeky dig at the Spice Girls' singing in hilarious Gogglebox clip with her brother Paul

MEL C made a cheeky dig last night at the Spice Girls' singing on Gogglebox with her half brother Paul.

Sporty Spice, 47, was reminded of her days on stage with Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton as she watched a clip from Extreme Siblings.

Two identical sisters kept talking over each other, prompting Mel to say: "They need to practise speaking together.

"It's like trying to…" before she stopped short.

Cracking a smile, she added: "No I'm not going to say what I was going to say."

However, Paul finished her sentence for her, saying: "Trying to sing with the Spice Girls."

Screeching with laughter his sister replied: "Yeah!" as the pair erupted into giggles.

It comes after Paul joined his sister on The One Show and couldn't resist making a playful dig at Mel's former bandmate Victoria.

Paul reflected on spending time with Victoria's husband David while the Spice Girls were on tour, with the hosts asking if he "saved" the footballer with the company.

Paul cheekily quipped in response: "Yeah, I saved him from his wife."

Mel's mouth dropped open as she laughed at the remark, with her brother quickly correcting: "No, I'm joking – would she watch this??"

He looked sheepish as the show's presenters joked that they'd be sure send Posh the clip.

Paul went on to reveal that years later he "pied" Becks when the global superstar approached him for a selfie at a work event.

Reflecting on how close they became during tour, the sports pundit shared: "He kind of latched on a bit with us, we were like: 'David Beckham, what a guy' and so we kind of hung around with him.

"He thought my mate Rich was hilarious as he's a proper lad, so we saw quite a lot of him on that tour situation."
