Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle has paid an emotional tribute to Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding following her tragic death aged 39.

The pop star sadly passed away on Sunday following a battle with breast cancer that had spread to her spine.

Sarah's heartbreaking death was confirmed on her official Instagram page by her beloved mum, Marie Hardman, who described Sarah as her "beautiful daughter".

The late singer had fought her cancer until the end, passing away one year after first sharing her devastating news with her doting fans.

Sandi appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday morning to pay tribute to her pal Sarah.

The pair appeared in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2017 and built up a friendship after leaving the famous house.

When asked how she will remember Sarah, Sandi told Lorraine Kelly: "As my dancing partner. She was the first one on the floor and the last one off the floor.

"She was amazing. People don't realise how amazing she was.

"She was real. What you saw is what you got. She was amazing, beautiful and talented."

Sarah was catapulted into fame back in 2002 alongside Nadine Coyle, Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts after Girls Aloud were voted winners of ITV's Popstars: The Rivals.

Nadine and Nicola have publicly paid tribute to Sarah following her heartbreaking death.

In a heartfelt post, Nicola shared an array of snaps with her former bandmate from their first music video for Sound Of The Underground.

Sharing her heartbreak, the Lucky Day songstress penned: "I'm absolutely devastated and I can't accept that this day has come. My heart is aching and all day everything we went through together has raced around my mind.

"Especially this last year since her diagnosis, as hard as the year has been, our new memories are strong in my heart.

"There are so many things to say and at first, it felt too personal to put them here and then I remembered that there are so many other people grieving her too."

She continued: "A part of me or us isn't here anymore and it's unthinkable and painful and utterly cruel.

"She would have loved your messages today, electric girl, you made us."

The star added: "You gave it everything and still with a smile.

"A white butterfly flew past my window this morning before I knew, it must have been you."

Breaking her silence and taking to her Instagram page, a heartbroken Nadine shared a stunning picture of Sarah, in her element with a smile on her face.

Alongside the snap, she penned: "I am absolutely devastated!! I can't think of words that could possibly express how I feel about this girl & what she means to me!!

"I know so many of you will be feeling this way. For now, I'm sending so much love to you!!!"
