Coronation Street fans baffled as Abi Webster tells Imran Habeeb she ISN'T pregnant after New Year bombshell

CORONATION Street fans have been left baffled after Abi Webster told Imran Habeeb she ISN'T pregnant despite her New Year bombshell.

Last week, viewers of the ITV soap saw Abi (Sally Carman) tell Imran (Charlie de Melo) she thought she was up the duff after their one night stand on New Year's Eve.

Neither Abi’s husband Kevin nor Imran’s partner Toyah know about it – though Imran confessed to a one night stand to Toyah earlier this year.

The first episode in tonight's Coronation Street double bill saw the pair meet up again in the park to discuss the matter, with Imran insisting Abi take a pregnancy test to confirm her suspicions.

Abi said she would, but if she was pregnant she would tell Kevin, before the man himself appeared and said: "Tell Kevin what?"

His quick thinking wife managed to bluff her way out of it, before heading off with Kevin – but not before Imran once again whispered to do a pregnancy test.

At the end of the second episode, Abi called at Imran and Toyah's flat, and using her on-going issues with Kelly as a disguise, managed to relay to a relieved Imran that she wasn't pregnant.

Abi said: "I just wanted to say that everything is alright and you've got nothing to worry about."

When Toyah said she didn't understand, Abi said: "Me and Kelly, Imran was worried we might bump into each other at another meeting.

"I'll never forget what she did but I'm not going to cause any more trouble."

Looking over at Imran she added: "You know, we can move forward now."

However, the scene left some viewers baffled, as Abi wasn't seen with a pregnancy test on screen, and they believe that isn't the end of the storyline.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Like that was convincing Abi."

Another added: "Abi revealed she was 'pregnant' before she actually had a confirmed test result. Bit silly."

A third tweeted: "I don't think Abi is telling the truth!"
