More than a year after Hannah Ferrier left the Bravo series, the show’s long-running chief stew has yet to reconcile with Captain Sandy after their argument in season five. The captain is now at the helm of the Lady Michelle in the new season of Below Deck Mediterranean, but her latest peace offering was rejected by her ex-colleague.

Hannah admitted she refused to accept Captain Sandy’s attempt to bury the hatchet.

She revealed her former boss tried to send her a gift after the birth of her daughter, Ava.

“She reached out to me when I had the baby, when I announced my pregnancy,” Hannah recalled.

Not only did Hannah not want the gift, she didn’t want her old boss knowing where she lived after leaving the series.

Hannah continued: “She said, ‘Can I get your address to send the baby a present?’ I was like, ‘Lady, no.’”

When asked if she still talked to Sandy, Hannah replied: “No. Because that was gross.”

The former Below Deck star continued to criticise the captain’s methods, though admitted she was at her best during season five.

However, Hannah also accused the series of editing out some of Captain Sandy’s worst moments.

She told Jackie Gillies on the Shine It Up podcast: “I was working and being around this sort of energy and negativity constantly and just getting picked at constantly.

“But they don’t show it all because they need to protect their higher-ups.”

Captain Sandy has continued her Below Deck stint into season six despite receiving considerable backlash for the way she handled Hannah’s exit.

In one of the most controversial incidents of the series so far, the chief stew was let go for failing to declare the Valium and a CBD pen she had brought on board.

Hannah insisted the substances should be allowed as they were used to help deal with her anxiety.

She said Captain Sandy and the show painted her as a “drug addict” for bringing the medication with her on last year’s charter.

Unfortunately, the captain insisted on following protocol and let the chief stew go without a second warning.

Earlier this year, Hannah told Peninsula Living: “It was really upsetting at the time.”

“Especially after being on the show for so many years and knowing that it wasn’t a hidden fact that I suffered from anxiety and had anti-anxiety medication.”

Despite her knowledge of Hannah’s condition, Captain Sandy decided to ignore her protests and wasted no time promoting Christine “Bugsy” Drake to chief stew.

Hannah added: “I didn’t like that it was presented as I had drugs on board, because I don’t like that stigma.”

Thankfully, she also received an overwhelming response from fans who experience similar mental health issues, though there are still no signs of her ever reconciling with her former employer.

Below Deck season 9 continues Mondays on Bravo.
