In an extended clip taken from Fury’s new ITV documentary, it reveals the conversation between the proud father and exuberant Tyson.

John says: “You’re the best fighting man I’ve ever seen in my whole entire life.”

Fury, who weighed in at 19st 7lbs dwarfing 16st 7lbs Wilder, replied: “I was too strong for him dad. I was 40-pound heavier than him.”

John hails the performance as a “masterclass” as Fury asked, “Did it look good on the telly?”

The Gypsy King’s dad slammed his son’s win before beating Wilder, after he battled to a points decision against Otto Wallin, but did so at 18st 1lb.

But John, who watched Fury become champion for a second time, says: “It was the best I’ve ever seen in my life.

“You couldn’t write it. You’ve done it. You’ve equalled Muhammed Ali’s achievements (by twice winning the Ring Magazine belt).

“Let me tell you son, it was some performance, I’m still shaking. Listen, take care, love you son, well done.”

Gypsy John predicted Wilder would “quit” against his son before the fight, something ex-heavyweight champion claimed Wilder would not do.

But the Bronze Bomber did not see the final bell – as his assistant trainer Mark Breland rightfully ended the one-sided beating in round seven – despite complaints from Wilder and head coach Jay Deas.

The result left John in no shock, as he screamed: "Heavyweight champion of the world! I said he'd f***ing quit, I said it! Now believe in John Fury!

"The Gypsy King has done it, the best heavyweight in the f***ing world."
