Whitney Cummings is showing her true colors.
On Wednesday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the 38-year-old comedian revealed that she’s been changing up her hair color to financially support her stylist during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I dyed my hair pink mostly because we are in a time right now … where so many people can’t work,” Cummings told Clarkson. “And my hair person can’t do hair.”
Continued the star, “I was like, ‘What’s the most expensive thing you can do and charge me for it? Come over and let’s do tests and do masks and do something expensive.’”

The brunette star debuted a bright pink ‘do on Instagram in August, captioning her post, “So much for me ever getting a job again.”
She switched things up again in November with a vibrant blue dye job, crediting the look to hairstylist Jess Switzer.
When Clarkson, 38, complimented her for the thoughtful reason behind her bold hair, Cummings jokingly replied, “I’m just America’s sweetheart.”
