Man Utd star Marcus Rashford arrives for England duty after missing start of camp due to 'personal matters' | The Sun

MARCUS RASHFORD has arrived for England duty after missing the start of training due to personal reasons.

The Manchester United star could feature in upcoming games against Malta and North Macedonia.

Rashford missed the start of Gareth Southgate's training camp due to "personal matters".

Kalvin Phillips also delayed joining up for the same reason but is expected back soon.

The FA confirmed the pair's delay at the same time that Jude Bellingham and Levi Colwill pulled out of the squad, taking the number of withdrawals from the original squad to five.

Boss Southgate had already been hit with a trio of withdrawals.

“He is the guy that got all the goals last year.

“I’m sure even Harry is not thinking I've got to be the one to score.

“Maybe with Hojlund scoring now at United, that will help but you know over a period of time Marcus has scored goals so that’s going to happen again.

“It’s just a case of getting a couple and then he’ll be off and running.”
