Jimmy Carr was unhappy at his Poole show when a heckler was interrupting, prompting him to have his personal bodyguard remove them from the show.

Hecklers are part and parcel of any comedy set, but it's claimed one individual went too far and ruined the show.

The show took place on October 7, and audio appears to show Jimmy Carr savagely responding to the heckler.

The rest of the audience were said to be thrilled at the take down, which saw him ask for the heckler to be removed from the building.

Audience members told reporters that the heckler had been rude and disruptive and kept interrupting and becoming a major nuisance.

It seems that Jimmy was patient for a while but it then became too much when they refused to stop hassling the comedian and crowd, and a "scuffle" followed between the heckler and security.

One audience member told Dorset Live: "Initially they weren't being abusive, just annoying thinking everyone was enjoying their constant interactions which were interrupting Jimmy's flow and the audience's enjoyment.

"Jimmy let them know that they were being annoying with his banter, but they were loving this attention and did not take the hint."

It's then claimed that Jimmy's security guard Stephen "literally dragged" the heckler out of the show according to another audience member.

Another audience member said everyone was cheering and applauding Stephen for taking action to remove the man.

Jimmy could be heard saying: "Guys, stop negotiating with him and get him out the f*****g building".

He added, laughing, "Steven does my security – he does not give a f**k."

Jimmy added: "You've done this to yourself mate. If it's any consolation, I'll keep the money," and "don't forget to buy my book!"

Members of the audience said the heckler and his subsequent removal did impact the show and meant they were about twenty minutes behind, but they still enjoyed it and Jimmy was able to bring it back.

Jimmy is currently on tour to promote his new book, Before & Laughter.

He appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier this week and mocked their theme tuned before gatecrashing the weather report.

Viewers said it was the "funniest thing" they'd ever seen, and others pleaded for him to become a regular item on the show.
