Iceland usually has many deals and offers in stores for its customers. The food retailer’s latest offer is the opportunity to get two disposable barbecues for free.
Summer is finally here, and Britons will be spending more time outside from now on.
For anyone planning on having a barbecue this bank holiday weekend, Iceland is giving away free disposable grills.
The grills are handy for cooking burgers, sausages, steaks, and more for a delicious barbecue lunch or dinner.
You can cook your barbecue on the grills in your garden before throwing them away.
To get their hands on the free disposable barbecues, customers must buy three packs of frozen barbecues meats from Iceland’s wide selection.
The supermarket’s range includes products such as BBQ chicken, Salt and Pepper Pork Loin Steaks, Lamb and Mint Kofta Kebabs, and more.
Iceland’s offer is available until Monday, May 31, while the Food Warehouse is offering the deal until Tuesday, June 1.
Therefore, customers must be quick if they want to get their hands on a disposable barbecue.
There is a maximum of two free barbecues per person, and they are subject to availability.
Other meats available in Iceland’s range are Hot & Spicy Pork Belly Slices, Chinese Style Pork Steaks, and Chili Beef Kofta Kebabs – all for £3 each.
There are also Piri Piri Drumsticks for £3, as well as Boneless Piri Piri Chicken.
For fans of Spanish food, there are Chicken & Chorizo Skewers on offer, as well as Chicken Fajita Sizzle Steaks.
All Iceland meats come in packs of four or six for the whole family to enjoy.
In other Iceland news, the supermarket is rolling out a brand new change to 400 of its stores across the UK.
Within the next few weeks, customers will be able to order their groceries online and get them delivered to their door on the same day.
David Devany, Iceland Chief Customer and Digital Officer, told The Grocer: “We are finding that our CFCs offer more flexibility when trialling new services to customers, such as same-day delivery.
“This allows us to optimise the operations and customer proposition before rolling it out into our main store estate.
“We are in the midst of a trial that is starting to be rolled out on a more national scale, being introduced in the next few weeks to almost 400 stores.”
Mr Devany added: “We are confident that we now have a good formula that works for our customers, and their feedback so far has been great.
“Throughout this year we will be rolling this out to the majority of our stores and we will continue to make the proposition even better. We are really excited about it.”
