TEMPLEGATE takes on Saturday's racing and heads to Thirsk for his NAP of the day.
Read on to find out his top tips on a busy day of action around the country.
GHATHANFAR (1.10 Thirsk, nap)
Came back to turf with a convincing success at Thirsk last time out.
He relished the fast ground when tanking along before hitting the front and powering away inside the final furlong. That was a good performance and the clock backed it up as his time was really good for the grade
The ground was on the fast side, as it is today, and this reliable five-year-old can give us another good run.

RUKWA (11.55 Bangor, nb)
He has gone up just 1lb for a cosy win at Huntingdon last time.
He had just over a length in hand crossing the line but there looked to be plenty in the petrol tank.
Rider Tom Midgley was in the saddle that day and he brings his 7lb claim with him again, which can make all the difference.
This trip and good ground suits and he doesn’t need improvement to strike once more.
THRONE HALL (1.40 Thirsk, treble)
He is bred to be more than a handicapper and looked classy when striking at Doncaster on comeback last month.
Despite being a four-year-old he was still green on Town Moor and improved as the race went on. There was lots left crossing the line so this extra quarter-mile should be right up his street.
The handicapper has upped him for that success but not enough to stop him following up.
11.10 Melayu Kingdom
Well bred and yard has plenty of success in races like this.
11.40 Rebel At Dawn
Went close at Nottingham last time and this is no tougher.
12.10 Billy Wedge
Has shown best turf form here and fit from the AW.
Back from long break and looks very well weighted.
1.10 Ghathanfar (NAP)
Plenty in hand at Redcar last time and go close again.
1.40 Throne Hall (treble)
Improver who should relish this longer distance.
Has been running well in stronger contests than this.
2.40 Wizard D’Amour
Finished strongly when second on debut at Redcar last time.
11.25 Badness Backfires
Fair form in Ireland and good UK debut last time out.
11.55 Rukwa (nb)
Stepped up to score at Huntingdon and looks the one to beat.
12.25 Crooks Peak
Looks on a handy mark going back over fences for in-form yard.
Easy winner last time and hard to beat without a penalty.
1.25 Dog Of War
Won similar race to this latest and could have more to come.
Has gone close on both runs for this yard and should improve.
2.25 Stony Man
Promise when third at Uttoxeter and won’t be far away.
4.20 Zulu Zander
Went well at Wolver and interesting back on turf.
4.55 Dusky Prince
Should know his job coming from a top yard.
5.30 Strong Power
Good run at Chelmsford and top claimer on board.
6.00 Baltic Prince
Has gone well over this course and distance before.
6.30 De Vegas Kid
Looking for his fifth win at this tricky track.
7.00 Little Sunflower
Good run at Lingfield last time and won’t be far away.
7.30 Black Medick
Capable of hitting the frame if showin her best in a modest race.
4.40 Meng Tian
Has experience edge and was a good second on debut.
5.15 Third Realm
Well bred and showed promise when fifth on debut.
Ran on well over shorter at Wolverhampton last time.
