Teen Mum

Debbie gave birth to daughter Sarah when she was just 15 years old in one of the soap's most explosive storylines.

Debbie had an affair with Andy Sudgen, resulting in her falling pregnant as a teenager.

She welcomed baby Sarah, before briefly rekindling her romance with Andy and then going on to date his brother, Robert.

Woolpack Seige

In 2013, Debbie was involved in a volatile relationship with Cameron Murray, and the pair's romance ultimately resulted in the Woolpack Seige.

Cameron's crimes were found out by Debbie and Chas Dingle, and he was then arrested and jailed.

However, he soon escaped police custody and returned to the village.

Upon entering The Woolpack, he took several villagers hostage before following Chas and Debbie into the cellar as it flooded.

Viewers watched as Cameron met a grizzly end when he turned a light on and it electrocuted him, killing him instantly.

Shooting

Debbie was left close to death when Ross Barton shot her in the stomach, after his gun went off during a confrontation with Joe Tate.

Ross had been left distraught after Debbie's planned attack on Joe went horribly wrong, leaving Ross covered in acid and his face severely scarred.

Debbie was eventually found not guilty of being involved in Joe's attack, but was left fighting for her life in hospital following the shooting.

Tom's scam

Newcomer Tom Waterhouse arrived on the scene and instantly wooed Debbie Dingle.

The mastermind behind the planned golf course in the village, which would lead to Zak and Lisa's home being torn down, Tom eventually conned Debbie into signing some important papers after she began working in his office.

She eventually found out about the betrayal, but ultimately forgave Tom, nevertheless it wasn't a happy ending for the couple.

Debbie and Pete's Wedding

Debbie and Pete Barton's wedding day was plunged into chaos when a helicopter crashed into the village hall during their lavish ceremony.

A whole week of episodes aired showing the crash and explosion unravel, which ultimately saw Debbie left fighting her life in hospital, again.

Emmerdale continues to air on weeknights on ITV.
