Molly-Mae Hague ‘devastated’ over being ‘forced’ out of flat that was ‘burgled’

Love Island starMolly-Mae Hagueis said to be “devastated” followingher and Tommy Fury’s apartment being ransacked, leaving the couple feeling like they have no choice but to move.

Molly and Tommy, both 22, were partying in London at the influencer's Beauty Works launch when their Manchester apartment was raided by thieves.

When news of the incident broke, it was alleged that an “experienced gang” used the well-known Love Island couple’s YouTube channels to plan their burglary.

In the wake of the incident, an insider said that Molly-Mae and Tommy no longer felt safe in their apartment, and that they no longer wanted to live there.

Now, another source has toldThe Sunthat they’ve since left the apartment, leaving 22 year old Molly-Mae is “devastated”.

They told the publication: “Molly is devastated that she is being forced out of her home.

"It’s really sad. She has now moved out of her apartment."

OK! has approached Molly-Mae’s representative for comment on the fresh claims.

While Molly-Mae is understandably shaken up after the robbery, her representative previously said she’s trying to remain positive.

They told OK!: "Molly is doing well considering the circumstances. It has been a very distressing time but she is trying to be as positive as possible."

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that several items were taken from the couple’s home including jewellery.

A statement from them read: "On Friday 22 October 2021 police received a report of a burglary.

"During the burglary a number of items were taken, including jewellery.

"Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made."

Molly, who was recently appointed PrettyLittleThing's Director,wore over £180,000 worth of jewellery for the Beauty Works event.

One item of jewellery worn by the 22 year old was a vintage Van Cleef & Arpels necklace that was adorned with 20 clovers — this piece alone is worth £15,100. She matched this with two £3,850 charm bracelets and another gold £4,450 version.

Molly-Mae has since taken to Instagram to tell her 6.1 million followers thatshe is “smiling through the storm”.

People were quick to comment their messages of support on the post. Fellow Love Islander Elle Brown wrote: “Love you” followed with a string of heart emojis, while her sister Zoe said: “Always amazing you are”.
