Love Island's Cara Delahoyde and Nathan Massey expecting second baby together

Love Island’s Cara Delahoyde and Nathan Massey are expecting their second child.

Cara, 29, confirmed she is pregnant by sharing a picture from an upcoming interview with new! magazine – showing her 27-year-old husband kissing her belly.

The sweet picture saw Cara wearing underwear and a white shirt, pulled back to show her teeny bump, while she planted a kiss on two-year-old son Freddie, who sat on Nathan’s shoulders.

Cara wrote: ‘We are so excited to let you know our very nappy news in the latest @new_magazine Buy the magazine to read the full story.’

Love Island star Dom Lever, who has a baby with wife Jessica Shears, commented on Nathan’s identical post: ‘F***ing come onnn’, while Latesyha Grace wrote: ‘Omg you kept that quiet.’

Cara and Nathan met on the second series of Love Island in 2016, and went on to win the competition, beating Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen (who are also now married) to the prize.

The pair were together for a year before they confirmed they had split up – however, Cara then discovered she was pregnant.

The dancer told The Sun at the time: ‘It’s a shame and a sad situation. I know a lot of people will think, well you’re going to have a baby together so just stay together – but we’re not going to do that just to look like the perfect couple.

‘Me and Nathan would always speak about kids, we said maybe when we’re 30, but sometimes life doesn’t go to plan.’

However, just months later, the couple reunited, with their son Freddie arriving in December 2017, and in June 2019, they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.

This will be the fourth Love Island baby, following Freddie, Dom and Jess’s son and Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison’s daughter Vienna.

Other islanders who have become parents since their time on the show include Jack Fincham, Emma Jane Woodhams and Tyla Carr.

Cara’s full interview is available in new! magazine, out on Tuesday.
