Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have appeared in their first joint magazine cover on the front of Time Magazine to celebrate its annual '100 most influential people' list.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex featured in their first major photoshoot in months, which saw the pair in a series of images showing them strolling through the grounds of their Californian mansion.
And after the cover was published this week, royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK!: "Kate and William are in danger of being dragged into a transatlantic popularity contest.
"They will feel anxious over the cover and everything Harry and Meghan do as it always seems to reflect on them."
Duncan went on to say that they never know what the outcome will be when Harry and Meghan are involved.
"William and Kate are concerned about absolutely everything that comes out of America in regards to Harry and Meghan, especially Harry's tell-all warts and all memoir that's gonna hit the shelves sometime next year," he added. "They have no control over the narrative."
The profile of Meghan and Harry was written by their close friend, chef Jose Andres, where he writes how the couple have "compassion for the people they don't know".
He continued: "They don't just opine. They run toward the struggle."
Jose then describes the Duchess with the words: "Springing into action is not the easy choice for a young duke and duchess who have been blessed through birth and talent, and burned by fame.
"It would be much safer to enjoy their good fortune and stay silent.
"That's not what Harry and Meghan do, or who they are."

Meghan and Harry have now been named icons alongside the likes of Dolly Parton and Britney Spears.
It comes after body language expert Judi James said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were shown in a completely “new light” in the new snaps released by Time.
The royals were styled in high-powered business attire, wearing sage green and grey to match perfectly for the TIME 100 cover.
While Harry and Meghan always stand next to each other, Judi discovered potential hints at the prince’s “passive” attitude towards his wife and her undeniable “confidence”.
"These City Slicker poses present Harry and Meghan as a corporate-looking power couple, with the power firmly in Meghan’s lap as she stands to the front of both poses, using a leg splay in one that would suggest confidence and authority," she told OK!
“Harry looks happy to hold her shoulder and stand slightly behind Meghan, looking supportive and slightly in awe of her talent.”
Judi added that the Duke and Duchess are a far cry from their “normal guru or free-wheeling” royal selves, as are the outfits they’re wearing, which also include an all-white ensemble from Meghan.
