This week has been busy, as always! It’s now been announced that I will be doing the Celebrity MasterChef Christmas special – I’m so excited. Christmas is fast approaching and I cannot wait.

I’m looking forward to digging into some lobster, turkey and a leg of lamb! At home, we have a mix of our traditional west Indian food and your typical British Sunday roast with all the favourite trimmings. But it’s never complete without some Baileys.

Musician Jazmine Sullivan has bravely opened up about the times she’s hidden away when she doesn’t feel good about herself and I admire her for speaking out.

When you’re in the public eye, there’s a perception that everybody is so confident and doing fine. But people will never know what’s going on behind closed doors.

Jazmine, and all entertainers, are under a lot of pressure to be that role model who is fashionable and desirable. It’s a heavy thing when really they just want to sing, dance or tell jokes.

We’ve got to take that into consideration – our idols are still just people. They have their bad days just as much as everyone else.

My good friend Stacey Solomon had a bit of a fashion mishap last week when she accidentally wore see-through leggings all day without realising. We’ve all had our fair share of cheap leggings, haven’t we?

We need to own our mistakes – I think it’s hilarious. I’ve gone into a shop to try something on and it’s got stuck, so I’ve had to ring the bell so an assistant could help me get it off!

It's been rumoured that judge Most Mabuse could be leaving Strictly Come Dancing and Cynthia Erivo could be taking her seat.

I don't tend to buy into these rumours, but I think it's great whenever someone makes a career change for whatever reason. No matter what these queens do, they're going to be amazing.

Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan and Clara Amfo have been announced as next year's Brit Award hosts. It's been 44 years since the first ceremony, and it's quite shocking that it's taken this long for us to say, "Wow, an all-Black panel of presenters."

Maya, Mo and Clara are all so talented and I love that they're being recognised. However, the fact the colour of their skin is mentioned shows we're a long way from change in terms of representation.

These milestones are meant to be celebrated and for too long talented people have missed out!

I was overwhelmed when I was asked to do The Royal Variety Performance and I found out I was the first Black Afro-Caribbean woman to perform a solo stand-up comedy set in its history.
