Dan Walker, 44, will take to the dance floor with Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova, 32, for the first live show of the series tonight. Ahead of the show, he asked Kevin Clifton, 38, for some last minute advice on Twitter.
Kevin was a professional dancer on the show for five years from 2013 to 2019.
Ahead of the show tonight, he wished the dancing duos good luck, in view of his 248,000 followers.
In response, Dan wrote: “Any last minute advice Super Kev?”
He replied: “Enjoy it and embrace it mate. End of the day its impossible to be perfect so just go out, give everything, entertain and enjoy.
“Don’t try and create the perfect swing, just put the ball in the hole and enjoy the round.
“Ur gona be awesome @bbcstrictly.”(sic)
Other social media users flocked to his post to send their good luck messages.
Susan Smith wrote: “I feel you should use his proper title if you want his advice… its King Kev!
“Good luck Dan, loving what I’ve seen of the ‘Walkova ‘partnership already.”
Peter Sutton commented: “Go for it Dan. Let yourself go. You’ll be brilliant.”

Dan is in the running to win the Glitterball trophy alongside; Ugo Monye, Judi Love, Adam Peaty, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Nina Wadia, Greg Wise Tilly Ramsay, Katie McGlynn, John Whaite, AJ Odudu, Robert Webb, Tom Fletcher, Rhys Stephenson and Sara Davies.

Taking to his Instagram this week, the BBC Breakfast presenter gave fans an insight into his intense rehearsals.
The father-of-three could be seen laying on the floor in the studio seemingly out of breath.
In view of his 219,000 followers he wrote: “She actually broke me yesterday.
“I got down there to stretch and I was long gone. 3am starts got me in the end @nadiyabychkova @bbcstrictly
Nadiya replied: “Partner. That was the sweetest thing, I was still talking to you, but you were gone. Great chat.
“You are absolutely amazing partner, not sure I ever saw anyone in my life working as hard as you do.
Grateful to have you as my partner! #TeamWalkova.”
Tonight, the pair will perform a Quickstep to The Blues Brothers’ Everybody Needs Somebody to Love.
Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 7pm on BBC One.
