Piers Morgan: Dan Walker discusses 'breakfast TV rivalry'
Dan Walker took to Twitter and responded to Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid after she shared an unearthed snap. The BBC Breakfast host couldn’t help but take a light-hearted jibe at his ITV rival, as Susanna swiftly responded.
The 50-year-old took to the micro-blogging site and shared a big announcement as the small-screen anchor celebrated some good news.
It comes after she shared the results of a TV poll which voted Susanna as UK Breakfast Presenter of the Year.
In view of her 782,000 followers, Susanna penned: “Well this cheering – thank you @tvlive.”
She retweeted the big win which revealed the GMB host came in first place, followed by her co-host Piers Morgan and in third place, Sky News presenter Kay Burley.

Dan, 43, was one of the first to offer a congratulatory message before suggesting they should have used an up-to-date picture of the broadcaster.
The BBC host replied: “Well done @susannareid100. Can’t believe they don’t have a more up to date photo.”
Susanna retweeted his message before admitting she was fond of the snap.
“I rather like the vintage look,” the GMB presenter replied.
Fans flocked to comment on the post, as many people complimented Susanna on her youthful looks.

Elsewhere, Susanna revealed she has “falling off the wagon” after the GMB presenter previously gave up alcohol.
Susanna said her decision to give up alcohol came after a doctor warned her drinking could leave her skin scarred.
The GMB presenter went teetotal last August after suffering skin “flare-ups” and “blemishes”, telling viewers she felt more energetic and better prepared for her early starts.
But the broadcaster has since explained that she has been tucking into some liqueur chocolates during the current festive season.
She penned: “Time to fall off the wagon with the Christmas liqueur chocolates.”
Meanwhile, Susanna and Piers are taking a break from their hosting duties on GMB.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am and BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One at the same time.
