Chris Evans gets payback after brother Scott scares him in hilarious prank

One household that’s not for the faint-hearted right now is Chris Evans’ home, as he and his brother Scott are up to no good in a scare-off.

The Avengers star, 39, and his actor brother Scott, 37, have been going out of their way to hilariously frighten each other around the house and while it makes for great viewing on social media, we’re not so sure we could handle it.

Scott was up first and caught Chris hugely off guard as he came back in after a dog walk.

Embarrassing his big brother, Scott caught Chris chatting away to his pet pup and calling his dog a ‘goof’ as he walked through the door. He then screamed his sibling’s name and poor Chris was seen jumping out of his skin.

Scott shared the video on Instagram and wrote: ‘I got him again and captured a little private conversation with Dodger: “You goof.”‘

Of course, Chris – who is best known for playing Marvel’s Captain America – made sure to get revenge on his brother and fans are now keeping a tally on Twitter, as the brothers battle to out-do each other

The funny videos come after Chris confirmed he’ll be voicing Buzz Lightyear in a new Pixar movie, based on the much-loved Toy Story character.

Taking on the character, originally brought to life by Tim Allen, Chris will be playing the human version of Buzz – who the toy character is based on – in new film Lightyear.

After hearing Pixar’s pitch, Chris explained to fans on Instagram that he was smiling from ‘ear to ear’ and assured anyone with reservations about the movie that they can ‘rest easy’.

Teasing a first look at his Buzz character, Chris said: ‘Working with Pixar is a dream come true. I’ve been a massive fan of their films since the very beginning.

‘My team could barely contain their excitement when they told me that Pixar had a pitch for me. All they said was “Buzz Lightyear”. I didn’t know what that meant, since Tim Allen is Buzz Lightyear, and no one could ever touch his performance.’

He continued: ‘I needed to know how this character was different and why this story was worth telling. I can say 2 things with absolute confidence: 1. I didn’t stop smiling through the ENTIRE pitch. Ear to ear.

‘2. Everyone can rest easy. And get very excited. Trust me when I say that they REALLY know what they’re doing over there.’ He insisted: ‘This one is gonna [be] special, and it doesn’t step on a single thing. I can’t even put my excitement into words. I smile every time I think about it. #LIGHTYEAR.’

Chris is also filming for new Netflix movie Don’t Look Up, with the film set to feature a star-studded cast including Leonardo Di Caprio, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep and Friends star Matthew Perry.
