Ashley Cain says he ‘looks up to the sky’ to speak to late daughter Azaylia following her tragic death

Ashley Cain says he “looks up to the sky” to speak to his late daughter Azaylia following the death of his infant daughter Azaylia.

The Ex On The Beach star’s daughter tragically passed away following her battle with a rare form of leukaemia last Saturday April 24.

Taking to Instagram, the footballer shared a snap from his run on Tuesday 4 May sent to him by one of his followers with an orange circle drawn around a cloud formation that resembled his late daughter’s face.

In an emotional post, he wrote: “Someone sent me this screenshot from my story when I was out running and I couldn’t believe it.

“I’m finding a lot of peace in the sky at the moment. From beaming orange sky’s at night, to clouds that form my daughters face in the day. [sic]

He continued: “I’ve never paid too much attention to the sky, but now I look up to the heavens a lot to speak with my daughter, it’s like she’s showing me signs that she’s listening.

“So many of you have told me that she will always be watching over me and over the past few days. I really believe it.“

He concluded his emotional post with: “LET’S GO CHAMP – I LOVE YOU” followed by love heart emoji.

After seeing the incredible sight, the reality star, who recently smiled for the first time since his daughter passed away, returned to get one more run in for the night.

He shared a video of him running again with the caption: “There’s no way I wasn’t going back out on the road after that sign from Above!” followed with an angel emoji.

Ashley’s girlfriend has also spotted Azaylia’s presence in the sky after she spotted an A-shaped cloud above her on Tuesday.

During the orange sunset, the grieving mother shared the clip to her Instagram stories after asking for Azaylia to send her a sign.

She told her followers: “We went to see Azaylia and I asked her, ‘Could you do something magical in the sky tonight?’

“And on the way home all we’ve seen is this. Well done my baby girl. I know you hear me and you create beauty everywhere. I love you princess.”

Several of Safiyya’s followers then messaged her screenshots of her initial in the clouds shortly after she posted the clip.

The star returned to the running track to help keep Azaylia’s memory alive with neon orange trainers, a colour which has become a symbol for both Safiyya and boyfriend Ashley signifying their daughter’s heroic battle with the devastating blood cancer.

Despite the dark time for the couple, Ashley has been trying to tackle each day as it comes the way his daughter did while she was alive.

In his first post returning to his daily morning runs, he wrote: “In times of weakness, I have come to think … ‘What would Azaylia do?’ She would be strong, she would be courageous and she would get up, get out and do what is needed to be done.”
