Thrifty Kate Middleton wore a £5 pair of Accessorize earrings last night but they’re selling out fast

KATE Middleton proved that she was still worthy of her “thrifty” status last night as she stepped out in a pair of bargain high street earrings.

The royal mum-of-three joined Prince William for a reception hosted by Tánaiste Simon Coveney in Dublin on Wednesday night.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning in an Oscar De La Renta dress, and while her outfit was high end her earrings cost just £5.

Kate, 38, was spotted wearing a pair of the Twisted Circle Drop earrings from one of her favourite high street stores, Accessorize.

Described as “simple yet eye-catching” the elegant gold earrings were the perfect accessory for the Duchess’ designer dress.

And royal fans will be delighted to hear that the earrings are still available to buy, meaning you can mimic Kate’s look for less.

But those wanting to get their hands on a pair should act fast as Kate's previous Accessorize purchases have been known to sell-out within hours.

Kate is a known fan of the store having previously worn an £8 gold petal pair, and once stunning fans with a pair that cost just £1.50.

This is not the first time that Kate has combined high street with high end during her trip to Ireland.

On Tuesday night she joined William at the Guinness Storehouse wearing a gorgeous emerald dress by the Vampire’s Wife.

The Duchess accessorised with a pair of over-size metal earrings costing just £6 from H&M, which are now sadly completely sold out.

It made a change from earlier in the day when she wore a pair of diamond earrings costing an eye-watering £17,300 by Asprey.
