I'm a fashion expert and there's an amazing hack to make even the baggiest dress fit

UNLESS you’re an A-lister with a celebrity stylist and seamstress on hand, when it comes to getting the perfect fit on a dress you just have to hope it works.

During summer fabrics get thinner and lighter, which is great for keeping you cool, but when it comes to showing off your figure you want a fitted silhouette.

But you need not battle with safety pins or try a hand at sewing yourself – all you need is jewellery.

There's a viral hack circulating on Instagram and TikTok that makes getting a dress to fit so much easier.

If you’ve lost weight and your go-to lucky frock is no longer fitted, or if what you ordered online isn’t what you expected but there's no time to hit the high street, everything can be fixed with a big gold hoop earring or bangle.

Here's the handy and easy to follow step-by-step guide that will come to your rescue whenever you need it.

Step 3

Pull the fabric around the hoop or bangle so it gives you your desired fit. Remember not too tight otherwise you won’t be able to get it off or back on.

Step 4

Using a hair elastic, secure the fabric around the jewellery in place. You should have a pleated or ruched effect.

Step 5

Turn the dress back outside out again and you’ll have a stylish, tailored looking frock.
