Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William stepped out on Thursday night for the Royal Variety Performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall. On the past three occasions Kate and William have visited the star-studded event, the pair have dressed to perfection in gorgeous eveningwear – and this year’s show proved to be no exception for the Cambridge’s. Kate looked truly dazzling in a floor-length bottle green gown, bedazzled with lots of sequins.
Kate’s gown was a custom-made Jenny Packham dress which was also an eco-conscious choice for the Duchess.
Kate was thought to have last been seen wearing the gorgeous garment during her royal tour of Pakistan in 2019.
Kate has firmly solidified her royal style in recent years, often opting to dress in block colours for formal evening events.
Earlier this year, Kate donned a stunning floor-length gold gown by Jenny Packham for the red carpet premiere of the latest James Bond thriller, No Time To Die.
Kate also opted for a lilac floor-length Alexander McQueen dress for the Earthshot Prize Awards in London last month.
In this sense, future Queen Kate is following in the footsteps of the current Queen, who often opts for ensembles that are all one colour.
On Thursday, Kate accessorised her stunning green dress with a pair of matching green heels and a clutch bag.
Kate steered clear of her usual favoured blow-out hairstyle, opting instead for a curly and loose style for her brunette locks.
The Duchess kept her jewellery minimal for the occasion, wearing a pair of gold dangling earrings and her stunning sapphire engagement ring.
But Kate opted for a glam makeup look, complete with rosy pink lipstick and a sweep of dramatic blush.
The Duchess wore a brown smokey eye for the occasion, complete with dramatic eyeliner and lashings of mascara.
And once inside the venue, Kate was given a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Prince William was also suited and booted for the night out with his wife.
William looked suitably dapper in a velvet blue suit, paired with a crisp white shirt and a bow tie.
The outing was a rare date night for the Cambridge’s, who left their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at home for the evening.
The Duke and Duchess were treated to a night of dance, comedy and theatre, hosted by TV presenter and comedian, Alan Carr.
Performers at the high-profile event included Ed Sheeran, Sir Rod Stewart and comedians Josh Widdicombe and Judi Love.
Mr Widdicombe said after meeting William that the Duke was “happy” not to have been the butt of his jokes during the comedian’s performance.
He said: “William mentioned he was happy that I hadn’t made any gags about him, I was worried because I had mentioned him at the start.
“I was delighted by that but I think he has misjudged me as a much more dangerous comic than I am.”
