Dyson Corrale hair straightener: The new cordless gadget promises 50% less damage and we want one now

AFTER years of research, Dyson has launched a cordless straightener that promises to reduce damage your hair by 50 per cent.

Following the phenomenal success of the Supersonic hairdryer and the Airwrap, we're sure the 'Corrale' straightener will be at the top of your wish list.

The Dyson Corrale straightener is the first of its kind, using patented flexing plates that shape together hair to deliver enhanced styling with half the damage.

It's suitable for all hair types, and after the huge success of it's previous must-have products, the Airwrap and the Supersonic, we're expecting the Corrale to be a huge hit with shoppers too.

It uses Dyson's intelligent hair control for precise temperatures, together with four cell lithium ion technology to deliver the thermal performance of a corded straighter.

Because that's right, it's also cordless – making it perfect for travellers, beauty fans and those on the go without compromising on style.

It uses a combination of heat, tension and control, and unlike traditional straighteners the unique flexing plates of the Dyson Corrale mould to the hair being styled, giving  the user greater control for a smoother look.

This also reduces the reliance on heat, as the plates adapt to the hair they apply tension more evenly rather than pure heat, which stops strands splaying, reducing frizz and flyaways.

The greater control means outstanding styles can be created with less reliance on heat, reducing damage.

It also has been engineered for all types, with a variety of features allowing users to tailor the styling settings for their own hair type, length and designed style – no more swapping between tools!

Want one right?

This tech filled straightener is sure to be next on our shopping lists.

The Dyson Corralle straightener is available from dyson.co.uk and its Oxford Street store, and will set you back £399.

And if the glowing reviews of the previous Dyson products suggest – it's going to be worth the cash.

The Dyson Airwrap is a £400 hair styler that curls WITHOUT causing heat damage – sounds good right?

We reviewed the Dyson Airwrap Styler but how does it compare to cheaper hair stylers?

Bargain hunters were pleased to see it was discounted last Black Friday – but can we expect the same this year?
